Ready to kickstart your outdoor season? Maybe your season has already begun, and you’re ready to ramp up your training. From beginner to advanced archers of all ages, you will find a spot in our 2024 Outdoor Target Archery Kickoff Camp.
Who: You! Youth Archers. Adult Archers. New-to-outdoor archers. Experienced-outdoor archers. We will run separate tracks according to experience, so archers of all levels and ages are welcome to attend. Barebow? Recurve? Compound? Fixed Pin? Para-athlete? Y’all all come.
When: April 27 – 28, 2024
8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
(In case of severe inclement weather, camp may be postponed to later dates, but moderate inclement weather will not delay camp)

What: Two days of shooting and gaining knowledge and experience related to outdoor target shooting. Beginners will learn about equipment, outdoor scoring, and other practical matters related to shooting for fun and competing in outdoor target tournaments. More experienced archers will have the opportunity to build up their arrow count and engage in elimination and team matches.
Why: Because you want to start competing outdoors. Because you want to get to know other archers who compete outdoors. Because you want extra practice. Because you are increasing your distance this year. Because it sounds like fun.
Cost: $200 per camper for two days.

Registration deadline: April 13 (to guarantee receipt of a camp T-shirt)
Late registration deadline: April 24 (no guarantee of a camp T-shirt)
Camp fee includes:
- Entry to BFAC
- One camp T-shirt per enrolled archer
- Lunches (but feel free to bring your own) (we will email you options for lunch)
- Snacks (but feel free to bring your own)
- Water (but feel free to bring your own)
- Time and expertise from two Level III USA Archery instructors and three volunteer coaches
NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT AND AT LEAST 6 FLETCHED ARROWS
