What’s up BFAC? The 3D season is completely over. All the field and outdoor target championships are finished. The indoor season has gotten underway. Wait!! What?? Indoor?? It's still nice outside though, right? Yes, it is, and Halloween is coming up, so why don’t we meet up on the field range Saturday, October 30th, the day before the creepy holiday to hunt some ghosts, zombies and monsters? We’ll start in the afternoon for a change – 2pm, but we should be done in 2-3 hours MAX, so families will still have plenty of time for Saturday night dinner and activities.
We’ve got some special targets on the way, along with some nifty Halloween themed prizes, as well as goodie bags for trick or treaters brave enough to wear your costume to the range. The entry fee is $10 for everyone over 14, and those 14 and under participants shoot for free. This is for fun, but since we are handing out some token awards, the divisions will be simply as follows:
Compound men Recurve/Longbow men
Compound women Recurve/Longbow women
Compound youth Recurve/Longbow youth
We will be shooting a collection of theme-based target with non-typical scoring locations – example below.
We’re looking forward to a fun afternoon of shooting, and we hope to see y’all there. ... See MoreSee Less

I hope this post finds you well! What a year it has been and then some!?!?
First, I want to thank so many who have helped (presently or in the past): Joe Cashuric, Rick Stonebraker, Dave Nesbit, John Magalong, David Allen, Shane Asmus, Darryl Ramnarace, Rick Braquet, Clarence Gregg, Craig Jameson, Chris Conte, and my wife, Veronyka and daughter, Felecia who all spend countless hours for the success of this club, and this just to name the cream of the crop. This will be my final year as president of BFAC. I want to focus on family, my archery, and some other health issues that are making it more and more difficult for me to keep up. And so, I also want to thank each of you. So many of you have lent a helping hand when one of us needed it. THANK YOU!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!
At this time we are now 300 plus memberships strong (more with families) and we are still growing everyday!!! I am astonished at our membership. This club is possible because of our membership, because of YOU!!!
Because of you, our members, we have a great club and things are looking well, however the “workers” (better known as volunteers) are getting weary and tired with all the work that needs to be done on a regular basis, not to mention all the practice that needs to go with trying to win a tournament, or shooting a 16 pointer!!!
So here is my appeal to each of you! I know life is busy, we have many actives we want to attend. Please note that our club is ALL VOLUNTEER DRIVEN!!! That’s right, NO ONE, including the board of directors gets paid for it. From the nicely mowed lawn and the really awesome new website, to all the tournaments and bale maintenance and new target faces, its all done by our membership - YOU!!!
What am I asking for? With 300 plus members, I am asking for our members to step up and help with the everyday maintenance of YOUR club. If you know the 80/20 rule, that should be a minimum of 60 members to help. We all love archery. We all want to make this place what it truly can be! Could you image if we had 60 or more members helping on a regular basis? And why not more? I mean you love archery, right?
It's simple, I, as President of BFAC, am personally asking for your help - I am asking you to get involved in your sport/hobby; in your club, Buffalo Field Archery Club! All the events and maintenance does not happen magically, it happens because of members just like you. So ask not what your club can do for you, but what you can do for your club!
We are in need of new board members for the incoming year, 2022, and are always in need of conisistant great help from our members. At this time we are seeking board nominations for:
President Vice President Secretary 3D Director Field Director Maintenance Director Membership Director
Please send all Nomination requests to firstname.lastname@example.org
Elections will take place at the November Board Meeting.
Remaining on the Board:
